Clean Earth, a part of Harsco, seeks a CDL A Driver to join its team in Calvert City, KY. This role involves transporting and disposing of waste materials in compliance with environmental regulations. Responsibilities:
Safely package and transport waste materials in adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
Complete required paperwork accurately and in accordance with regulations and customer policies.
Load and secure materials onto trucks and unload at various customer sites or Clean Earth locations.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate any issues to management.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on assigned truck.
Plan routes based on customer needs and follow DOT guidelines while driving.
Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 21 years of age.
High School diploma or GED.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, understanding).
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
Basic knowledge of Windows-based software.
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment provided by the company.
Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
1 year of driving manual transmission experience.
Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid TWIC Card.
Tanker endorsement.
Hazmat Endorsement (candidates expected to obtain after hire).
At least 1 year of route driving experience.
Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations.
