Job Description:

The CDL B Driver (Environmental Specialist III) will primarily work on-site at retail stores, responsible for managing retail hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste. Key responsibilities include waste characterization, segregation, packaging, and documentation to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as DOT, EPA, and DEA regulations. The role involves travel between customer retail facilities within an assigned territory, with a focus on maintaining regulatory compliance and providing training and support to customers.

Qualifications:

• Basic Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a CDL Class B license, and a Hazmat endorsement for waste transportation.
• Preferred Qualifications include three or more years of related industry experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of waste routing and disposal, and a 40hr Hazwoper Certificate.

Physical Demands:

The position requires the ability to work in various climate conditions, both indoors and outdoors, and the capacity to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly. Personal protective equipment provided by the company, such as respirators, eye protection, and protective footwear, may be required.
