Job Description:

 The Field Representative II provides on-site services and repairs for company products and systems at customer locations, typically within a specific geographic area. They are proficient in handling a full workload independently or within a networked environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Achieving expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and experience level.
  • Managing territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
  • Demonstrating excellent technical and customer relation skills.
  • Actively driving revenue generating opportunities through various means such as supply leads and contract sales.
  • Performing a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, removal, and retrofits on assigned equipment.
  • Conducting Basic Connected installations, setting up IP addresses, downloading printer drivers, and providing customer training on printing functions.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing or replacing equipment components as necessary.
  • Managing territory effectively, executing all required territory management and call handling procedures.
  • Working closely with sales partners to maximize equipment leads and upgrade opportunities.
  • Maintaining and managing own parts inventory with accuracy.
  • Providing technical assistance to less experienced technicians.
  • Maintaining productive, professional relationships with all company personnel.
  • Being a positive and contributing team member.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


Education, Experience, and Certifications:

  • Typically requires journeyman level technical knowledge gained through completion of technical school and 2+ years of related experience.
  • Requires a valid state driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage per company policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Strong working knowledge of electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuitry, electronics, and varying levels of digital competency.
  • Methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written technical information.
  • Working knowledge of PCs and associated software applications.
