The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Laboratory director for Medical Surgical Business's IV Site Management (Tegaderm™ Curios™), Surgical Solutions (Duraprep™, Ioban™), Tapes and Wraps, and Biomedical Electrodes Portfolios, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Developing, coaching, and directing multiple workgroups;


• Leading complex projects and portfolio outcomes;


• Communicating management goals and exemplifying corporate values to assigned personnel;


• As a member of the Infection Prevention and Surgical Solutions Team, creating and driving strategic direction; and


• Originating, championing, executing a pipeline of new products and major laboratory initiatives aligned with business strategy.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited institution and Eleven (11) of experience in Medical Device Product Development.


• 10 years of R&D Management and/or Project Management.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in surgical procedures, infection prevention protocols, and vascular access procedures.


• Masters or Doctorate in Engineering or Sciences.


• Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with healthcare professionals.


• Experience in translating clinical needs to new product solutions.


• Experience with Medical Device new product development for global markets.


• Experience in the development of Intellectual Property.

Work location:

• 
  Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to St. Paul, MN at least 3 days per week.
  

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international.

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $222,044 - $271,387, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
