Sr Project Manager - Actuarial at Horizontal Talent in Golden Valley, Minnesota

Job Description:

• This function will provide support to an Actuarial System Agile team to include preparation for governance review (Steering/Operating Committee, Portfolio), team risk/issue management, financial governance and establishing metrics.
• Manage project financials supporting multiple workstreams/teams to include estimates, change orders and forecast.
• Partner with varied stakeholders across multiple workstreams to align on scope, delivery schedule, risks and issues.

• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies to include SAFE and hybrid models.
• Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels within the organization, with emphasis on senior leaders, while operating in an ambiguous environment.
• Experienced in formal techniques of risk management.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Project
• Experience in Change Management

• 10+ years of experience managing and delivering successful IT projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Life Insurance and annuity experience as well familiarity with actuarial department or systems is preferred.
• Technical acumen with a complex test environment framework, driving continuous improvement and innovative solutions facilitating senior leader engagement.
