In this rewarding role, you will:



  • Own your customer’s problems end-to-end by creating the vision, setting strategic directions, and delivering key product outcomes.

  • Partner with architecture, engineering, design, and development teams to build solutions that increase customer satisfaction.

  • Use product analytics to understand how customers use the product, and help guide decisions on future improvements and optimizations.

  • Create, manage, prioritize and communicate Product Backlog Items (PBI’s) i.e. user stories ensuring that the most valuable work is actioned by the team (prioritized and refined).

  • Facilitate Product Backlog refinement sessions as required to ensure a healthy availability of ready PBI’s that satisfy the creation of Product Goal supporting Sprint Goals.

  • Propose sprint Goals and related PBI’s for whole team negotiation during Sprint Planning events.

  • Be available to the team - communicate and collaborate closely with the Scrum team, Customer, Stakeholders, and management. 

  • Translate Engineering artefacts (use cases, architectural diagrams, process flows, data models, etc.) and Epics into User Stories.

  • Weigh risks and opportunities and guide the team to delivering value in your product.

  • Drive product quality through well-defined user stories.

  • Deliver products that ultimately make your customer happy!


 


 Required:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline w/ 9+ years of relevant professional experience (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

  • Working knowledge with Microsoft SharePoint, Office (Word, Excel), MS Project, Visio and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of Agile Scrum

  • Certified Product Owner with 3+ years of experience

  • Working knowledge of application programming, database, system design and well as web-based and client/server architectures.

  • Experience with backlog management tools, such as ADO, JIRA, etc.

  • Working knowledge of backlog prioritization techniques (RICE, Kano, MoSCoW, etc.)

  • Active Listening skills


Desired



  • Certified Scrum Master or Scrum Master experience a plus

  • Working knowledge with Restful API's 

  • Experience in PO role using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 


 


Pay and Benefits:


Salary range (level 4) - $112,000 - $125,000


Other levels may be considered,  The hourly ranges for each level are as follows:


Level 3 - 5+ years of experience:   $90,000 - $110,000


Level 5 - 14+ years of experience:  $130,000 - $155,000
