Avance Medical Pain Service (AMPS), a subset of Avance Psychiatry, is dedicated to cutting-edge, research-based treatments for pain and psychiatric conditions. Inherent to AMPS mission is making providers feel valued and supported with quality work/life balance and respectful supervision.
AMPS stands out in the pain management community for its focus on the concurrent treatment of pain and psychiatric comorbidity. Rather than an injection focused clinic, we apply unique pharmacologic modalities for chronic pain patients. We believe in rational, function-based, patient centered management of all medications, including opioids. This applies to the use of ketamine infusions and buprenorphine when appropriate. Ongoing research at the clinic affords us the opportunity to stay on the leading edge of chronic pain management.
