Job Description:

Position Summary:

UTHealth Houston is looking for a seasonal hire to work with our Records Management area of Information Technology. This employee will assist in various tasks related to maintaining records, including inputting transmittals into Records Center software, preparing statistical reports, and conducting records inventory. They would also support the implementation of records retention schedules, assist with customer information retrieval, and participate in compliance auditing.

Seasonal hires are hourly employees who work part-time. They are only employed for a total duration of four or five months. They are not eligible for benefits, and the roles are designed for students looking for a summer job that both pays them and gives them exposure to UTHealth Houston and information technology. It could also be suitable for those wishing to try something new or looking into a different career direction.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Clerical tasks with the Records Management team of IT

Minimum Education:

There is no minimum education, but some college credit or high school graduates are preferred.

Minimum Experience:

There is no minimum experience, but those studying IT or those with an interest in a career in technology are preferred.

Physical Requirements:

You must be able to lift at least twenty-five pounds on your own.

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas. This role will be reporting on-site at our Operations Center Building facility.
