Premier Engineering Consulting firm offers design engineering and CM / PM Services to a wide range of public infrastructure agencies including MTA, DDC, DEP and PANYNJ. Offering a hybrid working schedule in their Midtown, NYC office, they are ready to hire a talented Electrical Design Engineer who can hit the ground running on long term-projects.



Your new role


As the Electrical Engineer, you'll report to the Electrical Discipline Leader and collaborate closely with the Lead Project Manager and other multidisciplinary teams.

• Lead electrical design projects from field survey to final execution


• Apply your extensive knowledge of industry standards and electrical engineering principles to a variety of projects, including power generation, industrial, and water treatment facilities.


• Design and engineer electrical systems up to 35kV, including one-line drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications


• Develop designs using CAD technologies and oversee the creation of 3D models


• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and clients to ensure project success


• Drive the full project cycle, from planning to construction close-out, while managing scope, budget, staffing, and schedule


• Contribute to the development of new standards and specifications for our electrical group


• Manage multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to budget and schedule

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years experience in Design


• EIT certification; PE license preferred


• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Microsoft Word


• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable energy codes


• Exceptional understanding of electrical systems, project documentation, and industry standards
