RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire an Investment Accounting Associate II to join their team in Boston, MA.

Summary:
This client is a long-running financial services company that is rapidly growing. They offer a competitive benefits package that includes a pension plan and 401K, bonuses and offer flexible hours. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 2 days a week in the office and the rest of the week remote.

Duties:

• Investment Accounting Associate II reports to Investment Accounting Director responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reporting


• Prepare periodic journal entries


• Collaborate with peers all financial reporting


• Identify new processes to inspire team and make recommendations to improve overall functions of accounting systems

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of accounting/reporting experience is required


• GAAP and STAT insurance industry reporting is required


• Working knowledge of STAT Insurance reporting required


• CPA/Big 4 preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
