Job Summary

This position will work with the Corporate and Foundation Programs. The Program Analyst helps administer a dynamic portfolio of global programs within the Corporate and Foundation Programs team and contributes to multiple aspects of the program lifecycle for those programs. This may include conducting targeted outreach and recruitment activities, serving as the first point of contact for potential individual or organizational grantees, participating in application management and selection services, providing grant-making, advising, and monitoring services, and coordinating events and/or study tours and delegations. The Program Analyst is responsible for compliance with program specifications and participant monitoring, which requires proficiency in IIE systems and processes.

The Program Analyst role may support new programs as they are first established and assist with surge support during high-profile activities, which allows the Corporate and Foundation Programs department to maintain a wide array of programs of varying sizes with a diverse set of partners including foundations such as Carnegie Corporation of NY, Ford Foundation and Open Society Foundations and corporations such as Google, Bloomberg, Sony Music Group and Western Union.

Essential Functions:
• Serves as main point of contact for a portfolio of individual and/or organizational participants and the applicable program partners based on the program requirements. Responsible for the generation of terms of appointment, issuing payments, and facilitating communication with stakeholders accordingly.
• Monitors, tracks, and reports on applicant or participant progress and outcomes and program compliance, as applicable. Advises participants on program policies and may be responsible for travel arrangements, visa requirement gathering, and reporting obligations.
• Provides emergency support services, connecting participants to local resources and coordinating follow-up as necessary.
• Communicates with stakeholders, including pre-applicants, applicants, participants, alumni, program partners, and/or third-party vendors, to provide key information via email, social media, and web platforms, depending on program requirements.
• Maintains pre-applicant, applicant and participant data in relevant systems, such as IIE’s application and grantee management platforms (Slate and CRM), following established processes.
• Works with program leads in the planning and implementation of seasonal program lifecycle components such as outreach, recruitment, application and selection services and program events including study tours and delegations as assigned. Assists with procurement and liaises with vendors and external partners as needed.

Education and Work Experience:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related work experience, or combination education and experience.

• Strong understanding of global scholarship and grant-making work.
• Strong interest and ability to work across a range of programs with different requirements.
• Intercultural competence and ability to manage grantee challenges and emergencies .
• Demonstrated project management, time management, and administrative skills.
• Strong interest and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to interact with all levels of team members and partners.
• Ability to exercise discretion on confidential matters.


Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $50,039 - $63,988. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
