Job Description Summary
The Pediatric Inpatient Clinical Liaison is responsible for developing, leading, executing, implementing, analyzing, reporting, and evaluating pediatric patient and family experience improvement initiatives. The Pediatric Inpatient Clinical liaison proactively identifies the needs of patients and families while serving as a point of contact for resolution. The Pediatric Inpatient Liaison will collaborate with the innovation center staff to evaluate the patient's medical or physical condition and to assess client needs at admission and as needed. Meets regularly with patients and families to support them throughout the inpatient stay. The Pediatric Inpatient Liaison will act as a liaison with families prior to admission to ensure a smooth transition to acute rehabilitation and what to expect in the next level of care. Will collaborate with Admission Liaisons as needed. The Pediatric Clinical Liaison will be well-versed in Press Ganey and the patient satisfaction process.
The Pediatric Inpatient Liaison will consistently demonstrate support of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab statement of Vision, Mission, and Core Values by striving for excellence, contributing to the team efforts and showing respect and compassion for patients and their families, fellow employees, and all others with whom there is contact at or in the interest of the institute.
