Part-time Exhibits and Sponsorship Assistant - $25/hr-$28/hr at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Alexandria, Virginia

Job Description:

Our client, a professional association is seeking temporary, part-time, Event Programming Support to join their team in Alexandria, VA!


Responsibilities:

• Assist in the presentation process for conferences, overseeing proof of performance checks for session speakers.


• Arrange pre-event content calls between speakers and conference teams as required.


• Liaise with event management team to ensure smooth logistical operations.


• Collaborate with Communications/Experience team and external production company on production-related deadlines.


• Coordinate and track related engagement activities, including editorial requests, press interviews, and book signings.


• Manage book signing logistics across all events, working closely with staff, and provide administrative support for managing director's schedules and communications when necessary.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant events experience is required.


• Strong MS Office skills are required.


• Proven multitasker with strong attention to detail and time management skills.


• Excellent oral/written communication, customer service, and collaboration skills.

Position Information:

• Pays $25/hr-$28/hr


• Starting ASAP!


• Temporary until late June.


• Part-time working 24hrs/week.


• 100% in-person position.


• Office in Alexandria, VA.
