Posting Summary:

Evaluate undergraduate student records and determine credit to be awarded for courses completed for transfer into the University. Create and maintain degree audit and degree audit requirements. Create and maintain catalog records in BANNER. Advise students, faculty and staff about accreditation and University transfer credit policy and procedures with supervision received from Assistant Registrar for Transfer Affairs.


Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):

Bachelor's degree and two to four years related experience required. Aptitude for math, detail oriented, and effective communication skills (written and verbal) required. Effective customer service skills required. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice and fostering a collaborative multicultural environment required.


Desirable Qualifications:

Experience encoding requirements in a degree-audit tool, especially direct experience with Degree Works, highly desirable. Experience creating specialized code, maintaining and testing validation and rule tables, and manipulating coding language in degree audit programming software highly desirable. Knowledge of BANNER student information system and experience in higher education desirable.


Anticipated Pay Range:

$45,000-$46,000


Other Information:

Occasional night and weekend hours may be required to support (including but not limited to) commencement, admissions events, and new student orientation.

Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
