Volt is immediately hiring for a Accounting Analyst, Battle Creek, MI.




As a Accounting Analyst, you will:

• Working closely with finance and operations teams to coordinate, analyse and communicate information required for reporting and projects.
• Provide analytical support and help identify, track, and improve key drivers affecting performance and results.
• Analysing mill results and provide insight on variances to budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with developing reports to provide financial understanding to mill operations.
• Assist with building standard costing models for finished goods inventory.
• Examples of routine Finance/Accounting duties
• Support the monthly close process by collecting and analysing data required for journal entries and statistical postings.
• Assist in accounts payable reconciliations and payments for the mill.
• Preform month reconciliation and cleanup of received not vouchered (RVN) and Automated Voucher Match system (AVM) for the mill.
• Attend daily/weekly/monthly mill meetings to share financial information and provide guidance on proposed projects and initiatives.
• Perform all daily customer invoicing posting and distribution.
• Other examples of duties and responsibilities.
• Participate in required physical inventories for internal and external audits.
• Participate in the mill's productivity project activities.

This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.




Schedule:
1st shift (Business hour)



The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Must be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on completing tasks accurately and on time.
• Effective communication skills including the ability to interact with other levels of management and staff.
• Experience in ERP, SAP, JD Edwards, and Hyperion a plus.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Teams. PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.

Payrate Range in Between - $29- $30/hour.
