Job Opportunity: Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) - PM and NOC Shifts

Position: Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)

Shifts Available: PM (Evening) and NOC (Night)

Job Description: As an LVN at McKinley Park Care Center, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care to our residents. Working under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with various medical procedures. Additionally, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the holistic well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers


• Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to the appropriate medical personnel


• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Document patient interactions, observations, and care provided accurately and timely


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans


• Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families

• Valid California LVN license


• CPR certification


• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
