Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is looking for a Lead Massage Therapist to join the team!

Inspired by the lush green canopy that embraces our city, the Waldorf Astoria Spa Atlanta is a 15,000 square foot oasis, offering a respite from the rigors of urban living, stress and travel.

A Lead Therapist is responsible for performing massages and/or body treatments for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. In addition, they will assist with training, product inventory, scheduling and providing clear communication with their team.

What will I be doing?

As a Lead Therapist, you would be responsible for performing massages and/or body treatments for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Perform massage and/or body treatments
  • Conduct training/onboarding for new therapist
  • Utilize, maintain and conduct inventory of supplies and products
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area
  • Maintain records as required by federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Perform general Spa duties, as needed

Qualifications for Lead Therapist

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 year's experience as a Massage Therapist.
  • Strong English language skills and communication skills.
  • Professional presentation.
  • Ability to work with maximum accuracy.
  • Efficiency and attention to detail, maintaining a keen sense of urgency at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions.
  • Ability to actively demonstrate initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
  • Excels in a team environment.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Basic computer skills.

Desirable:


  • Luxury experience highly preferred
  • Training in Forbes standards of service preferred
