We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analytics professional to join our client's growing team. Responsibilities as a member of the Data Analytics and reporting team include data mining, data analysis, data visualization, requirements mapping, and translating business needs into analytics/reporting requirements. In this role, you will be interfacing with partners and other team members to build custom data-driven solutions, as well as crafting impactful visualizations and reports.
Position is hybrid in Birmingham, AL
Responsibilities:
Gather, document, scrutinize, and correlate business data from diverse sources.
Outline, create, assemble, and distribute novel business intelligence and analytics solutions.
Create interactive dashboards and reports to illustrate crucial metrics and trends
Construct online analytical processing (OLAP) cubes, both static and dynamic dashboards, as well as interactive reports, charts, and graphs tailored to client specifications.
Formulate, construct, and present fresh reports, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Conduct intricate data analysis and craft dimensional data models.
Act as a BI authority to accurately evaluate BI necessities for business division users, aligning those requirements with suitable back-end solution frameworks (e.g., OLTP/transactional databases, data marts, data warehouses, cubes, tabular models, local data sources, etc.).
Engage with colleagues, fostering team members' growth and expertise through guidance and leadership when necessary.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Strong data analysis experience; understanding of data warehouse design techniques is a plus
Strong SQL & Query writing skills is preferred
Knowledge of data migration and integration
Experience in Power BI and/or Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and reports
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner
