CR Fletcher is recruiting for a 401k/Pension Plan Administrator for a long-standing company in the Syracuse area. This position is responsible for preforming annual administration for defined contribution plans, preparing and reviewing annual reports, tracking data, and identifying potential plan redesign opportunities.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret the plan document specifications and apply to the
employee/participant
Prepare contribution allocation and optimal plan illustrations
Review reconciled trust accounts to plan accounts
Perform and review non?discrimination testing (combined plan where applicable)
Prepare and review IRS Form 5500, and others as needed
Calculate and review required minimum distributions
Review distribution and loan disclosures and paperwork based upon plan provisions
Design and implement procedures to work with support team members
Communicate with client, accountant, attorney, and investment advisor on plan related
issues
Track data received and not received and follow up with related parties to receive data
Review participant disclosures and notifications
Identify potential plan redesign opportunities and potential prohibited transactions
Qualifications
5+ years of third party administration experience
Defined contribution plan administration experience
