LHH is actively seeking a Program Manager- Corporate Events for a boutique 3rd party Corporate events planning company. This is a great opportunity with a stable and growing events company that has been in business 30+ years.
This role is responsible for management of all aspects of event production and execution. This role will work collaboratively with internal team members, vendors, and the client to product dynamic corporate events, both in person and virtually.
This is an on site role with travel to meeting events (local, domestic and international). Approximately 25% travel.
The primary responsibilities for this role include
Working with client to develop event goals and discuss opportunities
Sourcing, negotiating and working closely with vendors
Managing applications and platforms to support event communication with attendees
Be on site prior to and during meeting to ensure event success
Additional duties as needed
The ideal candidate profile will have the following qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field
5+ years of Events Management experience
8+ years of Hospitality experience
Comfortable managing multiple aspects of the event at once
Successful working in a highly collaborative environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable interfacing with all levels of the organization
