The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in manufacturing accounting. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing month-end close processes, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will supervise a team of three finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Supervise and mentor a team of three finance professionals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
