Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products, negotiating terms and contracts as necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze demand forecasts to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions using inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, such as production teams and sales departments, to understand their supply needs and priorities.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements affecting supply chain operations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve supply chain performance through automation and best practices.
- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive overall business objectives related to supply chain optimization.
Qualifications:
- High sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel ranging from intermediate to advanced levels.
- Fundamental comprehension of ERP / MRP systems.
- Prior experience in product sourcing and collaborating with vendors to achieve cost efficiencies.
