Job Title: Quality/Test Engineer 4
Location: Mossville, IL
Duration: 12 Months
On-Site - Full Time
Candidate Responsibilities
Enable undercarriage team to build and disassemble test iron.
Typical Day Primary
Schedule all activities in the shop (Press schedule, Inspection schedule, Production schedule)
Schedule any OT required (Cat Employees and Agency)
Order parts for all builds (Engineering or Production)
Order all consumables and tools for the shop (PPE, Oil, etc)
Schedule all shipments out of the Track shop (to East Peoria, to Dealers, etc)
Perform all required inspections and maintenance (hoists, cranes, presses, fork lifts, etc)
Secondary
Assist with builds and tear downs
Assist with inspections
Run the Press
Weld
Third
Take ownership in some tests as a load leveling mechanism
Education Requirement
High School Diploma or GED Required
8-10 years of Engineering or production experience
Technical Skills Required
*Ability to navigate ordering and scheduling systems
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
*Mechanical Aptitude
Soft Skills Required
*Problem Solving
*Basic Project Managing/Able to prioritize tasks
