Description:
Our client is seeking a Corporate Food Safety Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee proper Quality and Food Safety documentation


• Review supplier and vendor approval process


• Recommend actions plans for improving food safety compliance


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement food safety policies and procedures.


• Monitor and assess compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.


• Design, implement, and maintain documentation systems and records required for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but additional experience will be considered in lieu of


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food safety / quality compliance in food manufacturing, distribution or food packaging


• Knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, etc.)


• Prefer knowledge of GFSI, PCQI and HACCP
