Location: Reston, VA

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer
This is a direct-hire position that is fully on-site in Reston, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.


MUST HAVES:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer provisioning, installing, and supporting on-premise mission critical systems Must have


- Experience maintaining and managing a on-premise VMWare infrastructure


Must have - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, K8s, Ubuntu, and CI/CD Automation


•Must have - Experience working in a DevSecOps environment


•Must have - Ability to work well on a team as well as individually


•Must have - Can think out of the box to help with troubleshooting issues and providing innovative solutions that fit customers' needs


•Must have - Can establish and maintain a high level of client trust and confidence with your skills •Must have - bachelor's degree


•Must have - Active TS//SCI clearance


NICE TO HAVE: Nice to have


- Experience in system monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Grafana, and Prometheus


•Nice to have - Experience with container orchestration tools (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.)


•Nice to have - Experience hardening and securing containers


•Nice to have - Passion for learning new development concepts, methodologies, and technologies


•Nice to have - Previous experience with commercial cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure)
