Job Description:

The Distribution Associate 1 at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls will complete the following tasks on a daily basis: Accurately document all movement of materialsVerify chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special request information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing instructionsPrint and apply all required labels and markings to boxes to comply with hazardous materials regulationsCondense, straighten, and maintain warehouse and dock areasReport unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team leads or member of managementUse a powered pallet jack and manual material handling equipmentSelect orders for processingPack hazardous items for shipment to customer following established procedures and instructions while complying with hazard regulationsPrepare materials for shipment, verify that all appropriate markings and labels are present on packages to comply with company procedures and DOT, IATA, and IMO regulations, making corrections when necessaryPerform defined audit tasks with guidanceScan or meter products into the shipping systemMiscellaneous duties, projects, and tasks as assignedFollow good distribution practices (GDP), where applicableShift/hours: 2nd shift, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, M-F

Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



High School Diploma or GED



Preferred Qualifications:



1+ year of work experience in a warehouse environment Knowledge of shipping regulations Experience working with hazardous materialsExcellent communication skills and attention to detail proficiencyAdjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment RSREMD
