NEW SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE | HYBRID | SAN DIEGO, CA
The Select Group is looking for a talented New Service Representative to join one of our top Utilities partners. This person will receive and post inspection releases coming from municipal and government agencies responsible for inspecting gas and electric construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience, be comfortable working both independently and in a group setting and is comfortable on computers and corresponding in writing. Please note, this is a hybrid position Mondays and Fridays being remote.
NEW SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2+ years of professional administrative, customer service, or coordination experience
Effective team player proficient in working both independently and in a group setting to manage workflow while being accountable for results
Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively prioritizing work and completing time-sensitive assignments to meet deadlines
Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to coordinate between multiple teams and stakeholders and ensure detailed follow-up
Professional email correspondence
Highly detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving and information investigation abilities
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
Adaptability to learn various business applications and software tools
Competence in data entry and word processing
Quick learner with eagerness to learn who is adaptable to evolving and changing processes
Bonus skills:
Experience working in the Utility industry or a construction environment
Experience working or interfacing with municipalities, such as the City of San Diego
SAP experience
NEW SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, enters, and verifies inspection releases from the authority having jurisdiction
Coordinates work with C-O Centers, AMO, GTS, SOT, ARSO, Trouble Department, and Project Management
Issues meter set orders upon receipt of all application information, service completion, and inspection releases
Assists other departments in resolving problems or correcting errors with City/County inspections and planning work
Maintains records of all inspections received from the governmental agencies having jurisdiction
Responds to inquiries from various departments
Performs other duties as assigned
