This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military.

Responsibilities:
Design and analyze components and electro-mechanical assemblies
Create and maintain mechanical solid models and drawings using SolidWorks
Create and manage bills of material (BOM) within companies data management systems
Develop fixtures and equipment to support testing and production efforts
Develop and present PowerPoint slides documenting design progress
Particiapte in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis
Develop technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
