The University of Miami UHealth System is currently seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to work at Soffer Clinical Research Center in Miami. The incumbent takes initiative and works independently in developing new research ideas and troubleshooting new assays. Further, the incumbent facilitates the training of students, residents, fellows, and other trainees.


CORE JOB FUCNTIONS


Assists in planning and designing research experiments, establishes priorities, and recommends schedules. Presents research findings at local and national scientific conferences. Writes technical publications and reports. Designs and writes programs to perform analysis and produces written reports on results. Collects pilot data to help support new and competing renewal applications. Supervises undergraduate and graduate research students and performs literature reviews. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Education:



MD or Ph.D. in relevant field

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
