Job Description:

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is critical in supporting Cloud (Azure) and on-premise administration. They will act as a key part of the team deploying and managing new technologies for network and server administration covering both on-premise and cloud resources. Key competencies for this role include experience with Hyper-V, other Microsoft products, and related technologies. Azure experience is a plus. Looking for a strong performer to help continue to modernize IT Server and Endpoint infrastructure and IT Security. Currently utilizing cloud to support on-premise servers, disaster recovery, and applications.


This is a direct hire position located in St. Louis, MO (63105) that will pay up to $120,000 annually.


A typical week as IT Infrastructure might include:

• Ensure IT Infrastructure availability and uptime


• Design, deploy and manage Windows server environment utilizing Hyper-V, VMware


• Active Directory Services Administration (AD, DHCP, GPO)


• Provide internet firewall administration and security


• Endpoint systems administration utilizing SCCM/SCOM/Intune/Microsoft Defender


• Maintain and in the event of disaster, Implement IT DR Plans - Azure Site Recovery Solution


• SAN Administration (backup health and restoration)


• Exchange, Office 365, and DAX365 administration


• Perform DAX365 administration


• Perform scripting (PowerShell or similar)


• Administer and maintain cloud-based applications (D365, Exchange Online, Intune, etc.)


• Perform Administration of Azure Cloud IaaS assets (VM's, virtual networks, storage, etc.)


• Assist in other IT duties as needed

Job Requirements

• Ability to attain a working knowledge of software stack and configuration


• Ability to work with different types of computer hardware


• Provide Service Level Analysis for Network Support and Problem Resolution


• Provide Hyper-V administration of virtualized servers


• Ability to understand and manage Network Security and Operating Systems


• Demonstrate network troubleshooting skills


• Ability to discreetly handle sensitive company data


• Ability to manage time and ensure tasks are completed in a timely fashion


• Experience with Azure Administration including VM's, virtual networks, storage


• Experience with Storage and SAN, understanding of load balancing


• Experience with Intune, prefer both Intune and Service Manager and System Center


• Helpful Experience: JIRA, Cisco Firewalls, Citrix NetScaler, Windows OS's, Splunk


• Nice to Have: SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Citrix LB


• Scripting experience is desired, PowerShell, Python, or similar. C# is a plus.


• 5 years of relevant experience required
