LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Director of Facilities for our client in the Real Estate industry in Miami, FL. In this role, you will assume responsibility for overseeing and managing all operational aspects, ensuring the seamless functionality of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and leadership to the engineering and maintenance teams, offering guidance, training, and mentorship.
Develop, implement, and uphold preventative maintenance programs for all building systems, encompassing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, and other mechanical systems within the multi-building project.
Strategically plan and manage budgets pertaining to building maintenance, repairs, and upgrades across all project buildings.
Collaborate closely with property management, tenants, and vendors to promptly address maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and execute necessary repairs across all properties.
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of 10 years; experience in building engineering and maintenance, with a focus on large-scale, mixed-use, multi-building projects.
Comprehensive understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and elevators.
Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities, with the ability to effectively supervise and direct diverse teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling professional interaction with tenants, property management, vendors, and local authorities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making aptitude, with a commitment to delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and safety standards is essential.
