Location: Brewer, ME

Salary: $17.00 USD Hourly - $18.50 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Clinical Administrative Coordinator

Positions in this function includes those responsible for initial triage of members, administrative intake of members or managing the admission/discharge information post-notification, working with hospitals and the clinical team. Includes managing incoming calls, managing requests for services from providers/members, providing information on available network services and transferring members as appropriate to clinical staff. Manages the referrals process, processes incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations. This function includes intake, notification and census roles.


What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed on what they will be doing day to day)


1. Reviewing Charts from Storage against NLH Retention limits a. Review the chart to see if it meets the criteria be destroyed/retained further b. If yes (for destruction), put into shredding bin


2. Scanning paper records within retention limits into Cerner EMR

What software skills are needed Proficient computer use. Quick to learn new programs.
