Full-Time Position

City Clerk

 

 

The City of Yerington, Nevada is seeking to fill the position of City Clerk. This position is a department head responsible for financial and budget functions of the city, including but not limited to compliance with the Nevada Department of Taxation rules and regulations; oversees the payroll and data processing functions of the city ; accounting and financial record keeping and reporting. An employee in this position is unclassified and "at-will”, serving at the pleasure of the City Council. Any interested persons may apply to the City of Yerington. Applications will be sent upon request to qualified individuals who have at least (1) one year in the maintenance of accounting records and experience which demonstrates the ability to interact positively with the public and/or internal or external customers and to oversee the work of others.
