SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

ANSER is seeking Technical Analysts to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). The IBAS program is dedicated to ensuring that the Department of Defense is positioned to effectively address industrial base issues and support the National Security Innovation Base. We are seeking candidates to support this program in the following areas:

  • Advanced / Additive Manufacturing
  • Castings and Forgings / Machine Tools

The analyst will provide support, which will involve a wide range of activities to include, but not limited to:

  • Supporting requirements generation, verification, and validation for planned program investments
  • Evaluating issues and providing recommendations related to cost, schedule, and performance for current and planned program investments
  • Developing written communications products such as briefings, talking points, and read-ahead materials

This position is to work onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA and/or remotely.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and experience are required for this position:

  • Must have minimum of a SECRET clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and/or lead projects and to monitor the project's cost, schedule, and performance
  • Intellectual flexibility, stability and strong oral and written communications capabilities
  • Works under general supervision; typically interfaces with the manager, team members and all levels of staff
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and proactively provide recommendations to manager and team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering concepts and methods
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and PPBE
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent

EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 3-10 years of relevant experience
