Quality Data Analyst

In this exciting role as a Quality Data Analyst supporting the Cardiac Surgery Quality organization, you will have responsibility for creating and maintaining queries and reports and analyzing quality data signals.
The Cardiac Surgery Operating Unit develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.
This position is based in Mounds View, MN within the Cardiac Surgery (CS) Operating Unit and requires on-site presence three days per week.

A Day in the Life
In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Quality Data Analyst role. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Develops, validates, and maintains quality data queries and reports
• Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report-building functions of systems
• Partners with cross-functional teams to analyze quality data signals and completes relevant quality system documentation
• Compiles, analyzes, and presents periodic quality data analysis, including Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSUR) for required regulatory submissions, and quarterly Product Quality Meeting data.
Must Have - Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, math or a technical discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Data Analysis OR Advanced degree in technical discipline with 0+ years of work experience.
Nice to Have
• Strong analytical skills and experience with large, complex datasets
• Report validation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and work cooperatively as part of a team and cross functionally
• Ability to manage project timelines to execute deliverables in a timely manner.
• Experience working or collaborating on regulatory submission documentation such as Clinical Evaluation Reports (CER) or Periodic Safety Update Report (PSUR)
• Ability to solve problems and innovate solutions.
• Medical Device Industry experience.
• Quality experience working in a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and Windows OS.
• Experience working with data analytics and query tools such as SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Spotfire, Minitab, or JMP.
• Familiarity with these regulations: FDA 21 CFR Part 820 cGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 10012, and ISO 17025.
• Experience with and passion for Continuous Improvement

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
Base pay is based on numerous factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
