Job Description Summary
This ESO Cloud Data Architect role will be responsible for all aspects of business intelligence structure including analysis of requirements, design, troubleshooting, support and administration of schemas, data definitions, meta data, and architecture of all data analytic models, databases, and repositories used to create, retain, and analyze business intelligence data.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for complex data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creations, repository management, construction, and administration
Configure database parameters, allocate database resources, and review data loaded into databases for accuracy.
Leads trouble shooting database applications, product support, analysis of data requirements, maintenance of application and processing architectures, and database schemas.
Establishes integrity of complex data definitions and underlying data models, and monitors/audits overall data quality
Leads improvements to increase efficiency of infrastructure and automation processes.
Produce complex data analytic models, ad-hoc queries, and reports for distribution to Audit and business management. Performs basic SQL queries for analysis of existing metrics and the development of new metrics.
Leads software testing including code-level/unit testing, ETL processes, SQL or reporting tools, code-level unit testing, and script development of moderate complexity.
Work and collaborates as a part of an Agile team to develop and implement capabilities to enable decision making processes and procedures including data, reporting, dashboards, metadata collection processes, metric collection processes, resolve data issues, data governance and data clean up and maintenance, data sharing agreement processes, etc.;
Develops conceptual, logical, and physical IT engineering designs, that support the infrastructure requirements of varying levels of technical and business application projects.
Completes analysis of business requirements, as it relates to technical infrastructure design, and ensure traceability of the design to the business requirements.
Knowledge And Skills:
Experience using core Aws services to build and support data solutions leveraging architecture best practices (S3, Glue, Lambda)
Expertise in AWS Storage (S3, EBS), AWS Databases (Aurora Postgress,), AWS Data Integration (Glue).
Good understanding of AWS Identify and Access management, AWS Networking and AWS Monitoring tools.
Proficiency in CI/CD and deployment automation using GITLAB pipeline.
Proficiency in Cloud infrastructure provisioning tools e.g., Terraform.
Strong technical skill in software engineering for Java EE /Cloud technologies and proficiency in Java Lambdas, Java Streams API, Java functional programming.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages e.g., Python, Scala.
Knowledge in Workday data tools including Adaptive & Prism desirable, but not required.
Knowledge in Ariba desirable, but not required.
Qualifications:
9+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s or higher degree relevant discipline
Certification related to Information Technology preferred.
Broad knowledge of programming, SQL queries, data warehouses, relational databases, and quantitative/qualitative data analytic techniques
Broad familiarity with analyzing performance measures and metrics and developing balanced scorecards and dashboards.
Excellent project management ability
Broad and deep familiarity with developing business strategies, fostering internal support for new ideas, independently collaborating across multiple organizations, and engaging senior leadership support to execute new strategies.

The hiring range of the Architect – Bus Intel - Adv is $113,500 – $157,500 annually.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
The individual selected for this role is expected to work a hybrid schedule and will be required to be onsite regularly in their FRB District location.
