Job Title: ESG Intern

Reports to: VP, Sustainability & Compliance

Location: Goleta, CA

The Role

Support and assist the ESG team in the documentation and visualization of various larger ESG project such as LCA, SBTi, etc. Contribute to our culture in a significant way - employees want to work for a purpose-led organization and this role is documenting processes that contribute to our ESG success which serves as a significant culture builder. Working as a team - we have a great one! Plus exposure to various significant projects for a large, multi-national, publicly traded organization. Cross-collaboration, documentation, critical thinking, and exposure to many different projects that Deckers' ESG team works on. This role will have to interview multi cross functional stakeholders both within our ESG team and other teams such as our Materials team to document processes.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

• 1. Assisting in process documentation of various ESG projects including LCA outreach, carbon accounting, etc.


• 2. Assisting in data visualization of various ESG projects including LCA outreach, carbon accounting, etc.


• 3. General ESG project assistance as requested by broader ESG Team.


• 4. Assist with Deckers LCA supplier outreach efforts.

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
