Associate Director, Procurement Operations at Kforce Inc in Worcester, Massachusetts

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Associate Director, Procurement Operations in Worcester, MA.

Duties include:

• Integration: Ensures seamless process integration between purchasing and accounts payable systems


• Deputy Director: Acts as a point of contact in the Director's absence and supports day-to-day supervision


• Collaboration: Works with Payment Operations and Contract Manager for timely payments and contract administration


• Complex Issue Resolution: Diagnoses and resolves complex P2P issues


• SME: Provides expertise in process improvement, procurement, and financial systems optimization


• Project Participation: Engages in P2P-related projects and ERP optimization


• Process Review: Advises on system services and process improvements


• Supervision: Manages staff, oversees IT processing, and authorizes purchase orders


• Sourcing and Contracts: Leads sourcing processes, manages vendor negotiations, and enforces contract requirements


• Operational Excellence: Proposes process changes and maintains positive relationships

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing


• Experience as a supervisor, at least 3 years


• Knowledge of the contract management cycle


• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Suite


• Great customer service skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
