Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Services Supervisor dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Laboratory Service Supervisor, is vital. Contribute to Vitalant's life-saving mission by efficiently overseeing and coordinating daily technical operations, providing skilled technical support in our blood bank laboratory.

What to Expect

Schedule: Evenings 3:00 PM -11:30PM (start time may be earlier depending on lab need).

Occasional weekends. Training: Days

As a Laboratory Supervisor, you'll get to:

  • Lead your team with a positive, mentoring skill set.

  • Oversee all aspects of the blood bank laboratory.

  • Conduct required competency observations and complete documentation.

  • Provide effective leadership to achieve high levels of service and product quality, financial results to meet company goals.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or medical laboratory science required.

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized certifying agency required or CLIA equivalent for moderate or high complexity testing required.

  • Certification as a Technologist in blood banking (BB) or Specialist in blood banking (SBB) preferred.

  • One year of laboratory experience required.

  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
