The Department of Radiation Oncology is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff.



The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a board eligible or board-certified radiation oncologist to join our growing academic department in 2024. Candidates with a particular interest in pediatric malignancies are encouraged to apply. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.



The University of Cincinnati Department of Radiation Oncology has three treatment centers including the Barrett Cancer Center as part of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the Cincinnati Children's/UC Health Proton Therapy Center, and West Chester Radiation Oncology as well as affiliations with the Cincinnati VA and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Our state-of-the-art facilities and technology include Varian linacs, Varian ProBeam pencil beam proton radiotherapy, superficial radiation and complex brachytherapy including MRI based brachytherapy for gynecologic cancers. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing department, committed to the highest standards of patient care, research and education. The position will involve all these facets with clinical practice likely at two of the three facilities.


Essential Functions

This individual will provide clinical services at the UCH Proton Center in Liberty Township and at the Childrens Hospital main campus in Clifton. The candidate will be involved with the different meetings associated with pediatric patients including tumor boards and multidisciplinary clinics. Additionally, this individual will be fully integrated in the teaching activities of radiation oncology residents and medical students.


Minimum Requirements

Prior to effective date of appointment, candidate must have:



  • Medical Degree (MD/DO) · Completed residency from accredited program in Radiation Oncology.

  • Candidates must be either board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology

  • Ohio Medical License
