Assistant Professor of Economics at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri

Job Description:

The School of Business and Technology at Missouri Valley College invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Economics to begin August 2024. This position is a full-time, renewable, and non-tenure track appointment.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Primary teaching duties will focus on coursework across the program, as determined by faculty qualifications.
  

  Faculty members are responsible for curriculum, teaching, service, scholarship, and related administrative activities that support the mission, values, and goals of the university.

  Primary responsibilities would include teaching a combination of lower and upper division economics and ag-economics related courses.

  
  Qualifications

  
  


• Master's degree in Economics, or related field with at least 18 graduate credits required.
  

  Ph.D. in Applied Economics, Agricultural Economics or related field is preferred.

  College-level teaching experience preferred.

  Collegiality, professionalism, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence and the college mission are also necessary qualifications.
