The Call Center Representative will be responsible for receiving inbound and making outbound calls to interact with our customers and identify their needs or issues. Scheduling meter installation appointments will also be a primary task along with confirmation of address and phone numbers of customers.
We have an opening for this role in Baxter, MN (Non-Remote) - Experience is preferred!
**Experience within the Utility or Transportation Industry is a plus!
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
Starting pay: $21.00 per hour
Responsibilities will include:
Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner while transacting the schedule information within the Call Management Software.
Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Maintain a courteous and friendly disposition when interacting with customers irrespective of their temperament
Build sustainable relationships and engage customers and staff by going the extra mile
Maintain open communications with Technicians in the field if adding/changing orders
Other admin duties as instructed by the Call Center Supervisors.
Additional Requirements/Skills:
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills
Must be able to sit or stand at workstation to interact with customers while using computers/headset
Able to get along and work well with others in a team atmosphere
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Effectively communicate with department and operations teams/provide regular updates
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Advanced degree or technical training is a plus!
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
Strong computer skills and experience in MS Office Suite
Experience working in a customer centric position and interacting with software applications to serve the customer.
