Hillyard, Inc. is currently looking for a Regulatory Label Specialist to join our team in St. Joseph, MO.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual that will be responsible for ensuring all product labels comply with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, and product development, to develop and maintain accurate and compliant labeling for products. The specialist will stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary updates to ensure continuous compliance.
Essential Functions
Print and finish product labels on a Konica Minolta printer and GM finisher.
Coordinate label changes with label orders, being responsible for obtaining Spanish translation.
Maintain label database.
Graphic artwork on label layout.
Assist with the movement of paper and laminate supplies.
Compiles and types statistical reports including tables and text using spreadsheet software
Qualifications
Knowledge of office procedures and software.
Graphic Arts software (i.e. Adobe Illustrator).
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
Ability to read and interpret documents and manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Proficient personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
Must be organized, professional, have a good attitude and attendance. Must also be a team player and can work independently or in a group setting.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Up to one year of experience in related field with experience in chemical/technical terminology.
