Job Description Summary
The Mold Technician will perform preventative maintenance on machine molds.
Responsibilities
Clean molds
Lubricate molds as directed
Perform a minimum of 6 month and annual PM's on all injection molds, establish procedures and maintain written documents, logs, etc.
Assist with mold changes on occasion
Operate heavy equipment and overhead cranes
Make minor repairs to molds as directed
Maintain a mold inventory list electronically
Maintain, install, and repair manufacturing and assembly equipment
Maintain building and grounds
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
Basic Computer work
Keep work areas clean and organized
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications

Education/Certification
High School diploma or GED
Machinist or Tool and Die Certificate from a Community College preferred
At least 3 years of Tool and Die experience preferred
Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience / Skills
Forklift training and certification will be provided as necessary
Lockout/Tag out authorized training provided
Hot work training provided
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
