Job Description Summary
The Mold Technician will perform preventative maintenance on machine molds.
Responsibilities
- Clean molds
- Lubricate molds as directed
- Perform a minimum of 6 month and annual PM's on all injection molds, establish procedures and maintain written documents, logs, etc.
- Assist with mold changes on occasion
- Operate heavy equipment and overhead cranes
- Make minor repairs to molds as directed
- Maintain a mold inventory list electronically
- Maintain, install, and repair manufacturing and assembly equipment
- Maintain building and grounds
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
- Basic Computer work
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications

Education/Certification
- High School diploma or GED
- Machinist or Tool and Die Certificate from a Community College preferred
- At least 3 years of Tool and Die experience preferred
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience / Skills
- Forklift training and certification will be provided as necessary
- Lockout/Tag out authorized training provided
- Hot work training provided
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
