S&OP MANAGER - Bilingual

You will be responsible for implementing and managing the Sales & Operations Planning process, engaging all levels of the organization, and guiding each functional area in understanding of how they impact the process. Your primary objective will be to align the company's sales forecasts with operational capabilities to optimize inventory levels, meet customer demands, and drive overall business profitability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to develop and execute integrated business plans that support the company's strategic objectives. Your role will involve analyzing forecasted demand, identifying supply chain gaps, and recommending actions to optimize inventory and maximize customer satisfaction. We seek an individual experienced in spearheading successful transitions in sales strategies and operational functions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of change management principles and a demonstrated ability to implement transformative strategies seamlessly.

Your responsibilities will be:
  • Develop and manage the Sales and Operations Planning process, ensuring effective integration of demand and supply planning activities.
  • Manage and integrate S&OP meetings in collaboration with sales, marketing, operations and finance to assess forecast accuracy, identify demand trends, supply constraints, and adjust plans accordingly. Maintain strict adherence to meeting's calendar and agenda.
  • Conduct supply review meetings to analyze supply chain performance, evaluate inventory levels, and recommend actions to address gaps between demand and supply.
  • Work closely with operations teams to understand production capabilities, capacity constraints, and supply chain risks.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, risks, and recommendations related to the S&OP process.
  • Provide sales-related inputs and perspectives during S&OP meetings, highlighting potential risks or opportunities and recommending actions to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve supply and demand imbalances, minimize stockouts, and optimize inventory levels across the network.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the S&OP process, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and customer service levels.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the S&OP team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology tools and systems to enhance the S&OP process, including demand planning software, inventory management systems, and data analytics tools.
  • Establish guidelines to support and manage conflict resolution during S&OP meetings.

You should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Supply Chain with 5+ years of experience needed.
  • Project management and cross functional expertise is needed.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Experience in integrating Demand and Supply Planning with sales, marketing, production/engineering, and business support functions
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, sales processes, and financial systems for effective collaboration to integrate planning.
  • Proven track record in change management, which is crucial for our organization's adaptability and growth.
  • A PLUS: Knowledge of S&OP systems.
  • Good / practical understanding of S&OP best practices
  • Very at ease with data management, very familiar with IT tools. Advocate for data integrity
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to summarize things that could be complex
  • Willing to be hands-on for the coordination of the resolution of short-term issues
  • Open towards change and explore new ideas.
