Chemical Technician III

Intertek is searching for an Chemical Technician III to join our Chemicals & Pharmaceuticalsteam in our Whitehouse, NJ office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Pharmaceutical Analysis!

The Chemical Technician III is responsible for preparing and analyzing pharmaceutical materials by various analytical techniques. They will process data and generate reports. They will assist Research Chemists and Scientists in study development and design and also interpretation of data.

What you'll do:

• Plans, performs and completes projects under direct supervision •
• Demonstrates proficiency in setting up, adjusting, operating and calibrating laboratory equipment and instruments - may include some of the following, but not limited to the following: • HPLC • GC • Dissolution • Disintegration • IC
• Independently performs lab tests to determine physical and chemical characteristics
• May begin doing some technical assessment
• Knowledgeable in use of data acquisition software and instrument operating software (e.g. OpenLab)
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, procedures and regulations

• BA/BS degree
• 1-4 years laboratory experience
• Knowledge of HPLC
