Role Overview:

As the VP of Engineering, you will shape and execute the company's engineering strategy while leading a talented team of engineers. You will oversee all aspects of engineering, ensure project success, and drive technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's engineering vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Promote best practices, standards, and methodologies to ensure technical quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to present engineering strategies and address technical concerns.
  • Identify and attract top engineering talent to support team growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in renewable energy or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of renewable energy systems and industry-specific challenges.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and drive performance in engineering teams.
  • Proven project management experience in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset for long-term engineering strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Genuine passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and climate change mitigation.

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may also be required prior to starting employment.
