Pre-sales Consultants are Experts in JAGGAER’s Source to Pay solutions. As a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, you support the sales team in meeting license revenue targets through building a business-motivated sales methodology that links our solutions with the prospect’s goals. You will work with JAGGAER Account Executives on the sales strategy, implement customer prospect/client discovery sessions, respond to bids and proposals, and importantly configure and provide customer demonstrations and presentations that illustrate the competitive differentiation of JAGGAER’s solutions. You will report directly to our Head of Pre – Sales Consulting Americas.

The Americas Presales team is part of the Global Presales Consulting; the team is organized in regional areas. The team identity and philosophy is based on the 3T concept :
• Technology: Consolidate JAGGAER ONE knowledge across the entire Presales team and work to position the right product package based on the Product strategy and market trends/needs
• Team: Move the team under a unique umbrella to share, communicate and collaborate as an unique team (i.e. best practice sharing, monthly meeting, team building)
• Trust: Communicate the JAGGAER company and product Value with the same messages across the global to be focus on the customer success

Principal Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work together with the JAGGAER commercial team and other PreSales consultants to obtain a winning proposition and sales strategy for new license opportunities.
• Engage with prospects and customers to gather business and technical requirements, determine needs and architect appropriate solutions
• Understand the entire “JAGGAER One” platform, it differentiates, and participate in sales cycles as an expert in the Source to Pay procurement software market.
• Configure and give compelling demonstrations and proof of concepts with JAGGAER software solutions, highlighting areas of greatest value and Return on investment based on specific customer requirements, to convert prospects to customers.
• Contribute to a library of best-practice demonstration content that highlights how JAGGAER solves specific challenges by industry.
• Understand the competitive landscape and how to best position JAGGAER’s technology against the competition. Communicate how JAGGAER has delivered value to existing customers and its applicability to prospects.
• Help complete prospect bid and tenders such as RFI, RFP and RFQs.
• Work with Product Management and Development to provide feedback from the field to improve solution functionality.
• Support marketing with trade-shows, webinars and blog postings to bring better awareness to the JAGGAER One platform.
• Travel in NA/Canada as needed to support sales cycles.

Position Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Experience with software in the procurement sector, either having worked in software company that operates in this space or having worked closely with procurement in your previous roles.
• Understanding of Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contract Management, Category Management, eProcurement, Invoicing and Accounts Payable.
• Experience on Transportation/Logistics sector will be highly considered as a plus, as also experience on ASO/BCS/rate manager modules of the JAGGAER ONE platform
• Thinking out of the box to provide experience from the field on JAGGAER ONE during the
• PreSales cycle
• Provide compelling presentations and attention grabber on why prospects should invest in JAGGAER to solve customer needs.
• Education: Bachelor's degree
• An ability to take personal ownership for deliverables.
