This is a 1st shift position with a consistent weekly schedule of 8 hour base shifts Monday through Friday. No off shifts, no rotating schedules; overtime, when available, is voluntary, not mandatory.
As an Inspector, you will be part of a small, mutually supportive, collaborative team that does whatever it takes to assure customer satisfaction. Key duties could include incoming, first piece, in-process, and final inspections, typically using common manual and digital gauges.
Candidates should have:
3+ yrs. experience as an inspector of precision machined threaded stainless steel, steel, and brass components.
Knowledge of blueprint reading, inspection plans, and part measurement using common manual and digital gauges, comparators, and computerized measuring equipment.
Proven mechanical aptitude (demonstrated via prior employment/training/education).
Proven skills in oral and written communication, MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, etc.), ERP systems, problem solving, and follow up.
The ability to work effectively with a broad range of personalities.
